No surprise here as we've known this was coming since US Cellular added the LG Apex to their smartphone line up. But just in case you've been holding out for the LG Optimus U (their branded LG Optimus One) you'll be pleased to know that Dec 13 is the day. On that day, US Cellular will make their LG Optimus U available in U.S. Cellular stores and at uscellular.com for free after an $80 mail-in rebate.
